The Jugendweihe Thüringen e.V. and its member associations have made it their mission to preserve the secular traditions of youth initiation and name-giving ceremonies.

An important part of these traditions is to accompany young people on their path to adulthood. To achieve this, we and our members engage in open youth work and youth association activities, which involve enriching conversations, encounters, events, excursions, and youth trips.

Jugendweihe Thüringen e.V. is an association federation. The association provides its members with nationwide public relations and lobbying efforts. At the same time, it offers a platform for joint activities and cooperation among its members.
